Words of Wonder

The pen doth write with words of wonder
Of a life filled with many mysteries
With a dream of a life hereafter
And the beautiful experiences of here within
The grace of passing seasons to show life's cycles
We have ears to hear music's melodies
As sung by the birds and the bees
Who can deny the magic of touch
Whether it is  the soft silk of a rose petal
Or the rough rugged bark on a tree
And the tenderness of a caress
We can smell the sweetness of new mown hay
Or the pungent odor of the sea
The perfume of a blooming rose
And the clean soft smell of a new baby
Our minds give us magical dreams
That allow us to be whatever we want to be
And out hearts swell with hope and love
For the world....and all mankind
There has never been a entity endowed
With as many gifts as we have been given
And the written word to help share
The many joys and blessings
And to fire our hearts and minds
Making us one with another
