Moon Children
Moon children their heads in
the clouds
Walk hand and hand across
the sand
hearing the rhythm of waves
crashing in
Feeling the spray soft on
their faces
Together they share in the
moonlight
And speak softly of what the
future will bring
The rest of the world goes
hurrying by
However their lives unfold
so slowly
And starlight glistens in
their eyes
