Have you ever felt lost and all alone?
You might
have wished for a light to show you the way.
Well
I have had many times in my life where
I didn't
know which way to go.
As I
looked to a higher power,
I also
looked inside myself.
And
I was blessed with finding a way.
It wasn't
always the way I had planned or would have thought
I should
go. Still it was the way I was meant to go.
At times
that way was the hardest and
I wondered
"Why me?" as we often do.
Later when I looked back I found
I have
learned something and grew stronger
because
of that choice. Many times I would have loved
to have
taken the easy way and still do.
When
I see a lighthouse it reminds me that
I have
always found my way thanks to the
light
shown to me from that spark of
GOD
that lives in each of us.
I am
not a religious person, but consider
myself
spiritual. And somehow the lighthouse
fills
the need to have a symbol to define a feeling
so strong,
and make it easier to grasp.
